{"id":347,"date":"2018-08-31T21:46:32","date_gmt":"2018-08-31T21:46:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sunriseinanewcity.com\/?p=347"},"modified":"2018-08-31T21:46:32","modified_gmt":"2018-08-31T21:46:32","slug":"study-abroad-in-australia-with-uf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunriseinanewcity.com\/index.php\/2018\/08\/31\/study-abroad-in-australia-with-uf\/","title":{"rendered":"Study Abroad in Australia with UF"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>When You Study Abroad Can You Keep a Journal, PLEASE ?!<\/h1>\n<p>I asked my daughter to write down her daily thoughts during her journey to Australia.\u00a0 I wanted to buy her a nice journal to write in with a leather cover.\u00a0 You know, something fancy.\u00a0 But no, she had other ideas and said she would put it down in her Notes app on her iPhone.\u00a0 That didn&#8217;t seem like that great of an idea to me, but you know, she&#8217;s a millennial and they do things different than we do.\u00a0 Anyhow, this didn&#8217;t work out &#8211; she didn&#8217;t write a thing.\u00a0 Nothing.\u00a0 N O T H I N G.\u00a0 Ugh.\u00a0 But when I asked to see her photos, I saw she had some really amazing shots and she shared a few videos.\u00a0 \u00a0I joked around that she should make a PowerPoint presentation to show the family.\u00a0 She smiled.\u00a0 And we dropped the subject for a while.\u00a0 And then a week later I received this wonderful gift &#8211; This faculty-led experiential program uses the theme of sustainable development to explore the relationship between people and the natural environment in both countries, examining the complex relationships between Australian and Fijian cultures, environmental conservation, and eco-tourism with a view on sustainable business.
